Police Narcotics Bureau attached to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has arrested two persons for the possession of heroin.The arrested are an Indian couple, according to the Police.
They have found over 2 kg of heroin in the suspects, said the police.
Reportedly, the worth of the drug haul is estimated to be Rs 24.5 million.
Further investigations are carried out regarding the matter.
